Texas Coastal

The pool and spa was built less than 11 feet from a ship channel on the Texas coast and required sixteen 20’ deep piers due to the sandy soil conditions. The pool and spa are contemporary and elegant while not conflicting with the traditional coastal architecture and a pleasing view from the home, and from boats passing by. The project comes to life at night with the LED lighting and fire features that reflect beautifully off of the water (pool and ocean) and the home architecture.

This pool won a BRONZE International and a GOLD Region Design award.

The materials used on this project include a Versailles pattern Travertine decking, Shaw Glass tile in pool and spa, Travertine coping, MicroFusion Tahoe exposed aggregate interior finish; Grand Effects Linear Insert on spa, fire bowls on negative edge, Zodiac Jandy pool equipment, Ledge Loungers in Granite Gray.
